Mobile App & Game Development
In this course, students will be exposed to the building blocks of an Android application using MIT App Inventor. This integrated web application is an intuitive, visual programming environment that allows everyone – even children – to build fully functional apps for smartphones and tablets.
The block based approach for creating apps facilitates the creation of complex, high-impact apps in significantly less time than traditional programming environments. Students will be inspired to make creative and meaningful applications
MIT app inventor helps students understand the basic logic behind programming. This will empower students to create, rather than just use technologies in their lives. Students will learn how to make a piano app, a music maker, and design a mobile game among other applications.
